Another special feature of this remarkable coin is its 'reverse frosting', where proof-like characteristics have been achieved by highly polishing the raised images on a delicately frosted background The Silver Kangaroo featured on the reverse was designed and sculpted by Horst Hahne, Chief Engraver, Royal Australian Mint, Canberra.
