1 Troy Ounce RAM $1 SILVER ROO COIN (2003)

The design featured on the 2003, $1 Silver frosted uncirculated Kangaroo coin is taken from a sketch by aboriginal artist, Ray Thomas. Ray comes from the Gunna people of the Gippsland area in the state of Victoria. Faithfully sculpted and then struck in fine silver to the Royal Australian Mint’s High Standards, the coin celebrates Australia’s best known animal and features the third aboriginal design in the series.
